Walking into Dance

Walking into Dance will be a space where we get to blend educational research, somatics, and dance. We will study walking and its ties with homosapians, explore cycles in our walking, dive deep into the anatomy of the feet and then take it into dynamic movement and dancing. If our bodies have been made to walk then it only makes sense to use the pathways that our body has crafted for walking as a reference for dancing. I am a certified axis syllabus teacher and the information for this workshop will be largely inspired by the axis syllabus, a compilation of information looking at the body in motion.
